A few customers say a delivery took longer than they’d hoped. We’re working hard on this, including for models that we first have to order from the manufacturer.

How ordering from Edel-Optics works
Many reviews are about delivery and returns. Here’s what to expect:
- Choose a frame: filter the shop by brand, shape or availability. The lens width, bridge width and arm length are listed on the product page. Compare them with a pair of glasses that fits you well.
- With or without prescription: if you need prescription lenses, choose the prescription option on the product page. Not every frame is available with prescription lenses; it depends on the shape and size. If you’re unsure about a frame, you can order it without prescription lenses first, try it on and have prescription lenses fitted later.
- Enter your prescription: during checkout, enter the values from your current prescription and choose your lenses. If your pupillary distance is missing, you’ll find instructions in the Help Centre. Check the values carefully before you submit your order, as you can’t change them yourself afterwards. If you’re not sure your prescription is still up to date, have it checked by an optician or eye doctor.
- Pay: you’ll see the available payment methods at checkout. Your order confirmation arrives by email. If you can’t find it, check your spam folder too.
- Delivery: the estimated delivery time is shown during checkout. According to our T&Cs, it may take longer for lenses made to your prescription, because they have to be produced first. As soon as your parcel leaves our warehouse, we’ll email you the tracking number.
- Returns: as well as the statutory 14-day right to cancel, our T&Cs give you a voluntary 30-day right of return from receipt of the goods. To send something back, request a free return label. The conditions are set out in § 11 of our T&Cs.

How long does delivery take?
That depends on whether your model is in stock and whether lenses are being made to your prescription. You’ll see the estimated delivery time for your order on the product page and during checkout. You can check the current status in your customer area.
How do returns work?
Request a free return label, either in your customer area or on the ‘Request a return label’ page using your order number and email address. The label arrives by email – if necessary, check your spam folder too. Please don’t send the goods to the address in our Imprint. The conditions are set out in § 11 of our T&Cs.
Where can I find real reviews of Edel-Optics?
