There is only one reason why bloggers, models, singers, actors and wannabe hipsters throw on their hippie outfits and head for Indio in California. Every year at the Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival, many music-loving (would-be) celebs gather together to freak out in the hot Cali sun with the hippest performers. Of course, they all want to perfectly showcase their hottest fashion styles – so the festival site becomes a catwalk and shooting location for all the fancy festival fashions. The fact that influencer Ann-Kathrin Schmitz and blogger Farina are on the same wave, fashion wise, is totally obvious. Ann-Kathrin’s sunglasses, with their dark lenses and thin gold wire frame, are reminiscent of the Round Metal glasses worn by her friend Farina. The double bridge and the more angular shape of Ann-Kathrin’s glasses are trend-wise one step ahead compared to round Ray-Ban frames! With her sexy outfit, Lena Gercke, the first winner of Germany’s Next Topmodel contest, totally outshines the hot California sun. 4. Showing One’s Colours!
Round is still absolutely trendy – and, as such, is perfect for a hippie festival. The German actress, Janina Uhse, wearing her coloured model, clearly stands out among other John Lennon imitators. Mirrored lenses have been around last summer, but this year the colours are even more intense and noticeable. In addition, the lenses of the round frames are bigger – and are also perfect for the day after. 😉

5. Comeback of Aviator Sunglasses
In addition to female bloggers, some fashion-conscious men are also strutting around on the festival premises in Indio. Daniel Fuchs, known as MagicFox, has for some time already been aware that the well-known Aviator Sunglasses are again celebrating a comeback.
