Kevin, tell us about your first pair of glasses: how old were you then? What did your glasses look like?
I got my first pair of glasses when I was in nursery. They were very colourful and had robust arms made of rubber, because I was always losing them or they fell off when I was playing football.
Which sunglasses model will you be wearing this summer?
I have a few favourites here. Firstly, the Gucci GG0539S, because they have a very unusual shape and definitely stand out. An absolute classic, that I can recommend to everyone, are the Saint Laurent SL 28. They are an absolute allrounder that suits every look. And of course, the VOOY Presentation sunglasses – with their round lenses they are perfect for the coming summer.

How can you make sure your glasses and personal style go well together?
Personally, I think you have to try things out yourself until you find your own glasses style. Aside from this, your own taste also changes from time to time. Of course, you should feel good in your glasses and be happy wearing them. In a nutshell: simply try things out!
How many pairs of glasses or sunglasses do you own today? And how do you choose the right pair for the day?
That’s a good question. I can’t tell you the exact number, but there’s quite a few. The colour of the glasses should always match the outfit. But on some days, I specifically choose a pair of glasses that has a strong contrast to the outfit in order to give the look a highlight. Of course, I also have a few allrounder-models that can be worn with any style.
Who is the coolest glasses wearer of the moment (or of all time) for you?
As a teenager, Harry Potter was definitely the coolest glasses wearer for me and I even had a pair of glasses that looked very similar to his. Since I’m also a huge football fan, Edgar Davids and his glasses have also remained very much in my mind.
