Today’s blog entry looks a little different than usual. Often we get stories from Edel-Optics customers that brighten our day enormously. And that’s the very reason we give our absolute best at work every day, to make this unique shopping experience possible for you.
Below is a short story by Lucy that I am sure we can all empathise with. Enjoy!
It’s Thursday, 1pm. My suitcase is packed, and I’m bursting with joyful anticipation. Tomorrow I’m going on holiday at last, Thailand this time. I’m so excited – it’s my first time to Asia! I have planned a two-week road trip from Bangkok to Chiang Mai in the North of Thailand. They have a relaxed lifestyle there, the old town is just magical and offers several different night markets with fantastic food and the most beautiful souvenirs. Also there are some great national parks in the vicinity, gorgeous mountain landscapes, waterfalls and lakes. Apart from Chiang Mai I’m also going to make a day trip to the hippie place Pai and to Chiang Rai. But most of all I’m looking forward to escaping the cool weather here in Germany (17 °C). In Bangkok it’s currently 30 °C, a dream come true!
I lean back and relax; I’m so proud of myself that I’ve already finished packing. Also my apartment squeaky clean already, and I’ve ticked off my whole to-do-list. I quickly snap a picture to my friend to give her an update, and she instantly responds with a snap of her newly acquired pair of sunglasses with the message: “Don’t forget yours!”
All morning I’ve been having that feeling I had forgotten something; like always. So this time it was the sunglasses. My brother once accidentally sat on my sunglasses and made them unusable. Then there was no need for new ones at this autumn weather. So I spontaneously decide to go downtown to the optician. I find these gorgeous, elegant glasses by Dolce & Gabbana, but at that price?! “I’ll certainly find them much cheaper online”, I think to myself. Shortly after I’ve already found them at www.edel-optics.co.uk. A super bargain with guaranteed shipping the next working day before 10.30am with UPS Express. I couldn’t be any happier!
On Friday morning my doorbell rings as planned, perfectly on time, as my flight is in 3 hours. A short moment later I already hold this beauty in my hands. What a service, I’m thrilled! For all of you who are just as spontaneous and out of it as I am, I wholeheartedly recommend this shipping option with UPS Express. Simply order before 5.30pm and choose UPS Express if you need your order to arrive the next working day before 10.30am. Should a delivery before 12 noon the next working day be sufficient, just choose the shipping option UPS Express Saver for a slightly smaller fee.
Thailand, here I come!
