Once again Fashion Week in Berlin opened the new year of fashion. In and around Berlin the new trends of the year were presented at numerous shows, fairs and other events. Everyone who considers themselves to be stylish attends this event, presenting their very own style to the fashion-enthusiastic audience. Before the show it was clearly obvious that the “All black everything look”, which had always been popular, was on the way out.
Beanies, bomber jackets, hoodies, sneakers and casual street wear dominated the scene along with fluffy and colourful coats and some unexpected designs.
Granted, these are the most extravagant shows in the industry that you’ll see at the Berlin Fashion Week. But the visitors of the event are even more so. In Germany’s capital it is obvious that there is a reluctance to be dependent on brands and labels, as the trend is towards individuality and putting own personal styles on display.
A look that works by matching different layers of clothing and accessories. The trendy colour mix in combination with different prints is perfectly matched with a pair of YSL LouLous.

But underground influences like elements of grunge and electric multiculturalism are also becoming noticeable with smarter looks, leading to a perfect mix of elegance and bad girl. This style is probably most strongly represented in the streets of Berlin and perfectly reflects the self-confidence of the Berlin fashion society.
@celineaagaard_is enhances her hard, casual leather look with Céline sunglasses, giving it a perfect trace of elegance.
Although the all-black look is still around, it is visibly pervaded with a punk vibe endowing it with more nonchalance.
Minimalism is not only the hip attitude to life, it is also reflected in fashion. A cleaner look is achieved by a combination of a logo on the hoodie and classic round glasses.

At the centre of attention at this year’s Fashion Week are definitely the looks that these two boys have perfectly combined in one or two outfits. Old patterns such as check or houndstooth together with colourful tops, boyfriend jeans from the 70s that are presently complemented with pink round glasses, conjuring up a modern retro look. Chic meets casual is the keyword here as well. Leopard-print coats are also a modern version of a well-known classic from the past.

Massimo Sinato is very proud of his new JB sunglasses – designed by world famous footballer Jérôme Boateng.

These two are definitely our favourite couple at the Fashion Week. They transform their age perfectly with a modern interpretation of the vintage style, topping this combination with their stylish sunglasses. The extravagant sunglasses by Marc Jacobs harmonize incredibly well with her outfit, perfectly completing the style. The JB Guardian sunglasses perfectly matches his suit, endowing him the right degree of coolness.
Perfectly stylish couple!

An excellent combo: red and gold always work well. The casual jumper with a noble, golden jacket. The accessories are also perfectly matched to this look. The gold-black handbag harmonizes perfectly with the gold-black Sunnies by Marc Jacob.

Red is definitely one of our favourite colours for the coming year. All nuances of the colour or colour family are permitted, also combined in one look. Golden accessories like Marc Jacobs sunglasses are always a perfect choice!

The new collection by Jérôme Boateng was well received on the “Black Carpet” – and as is obvious matches every look!
@ella_skyhighqueen with the JB Guardian which optimally complements her sexy-casual mix.
@feiytan & @_iamstephano also rely on glasses to make their look complete. The JB Guardian and the JB Visionary are really a perfect match for them!
Actress and fashion fan Wolke Hegenbarth (@wolke_hegenbarth_official) looks like she styled her look around the JB Guardian right from the start.
