The year of fashion always starts with fashion weeks all around the world, where fashion trends are presented for the whole year. We have also looked around to give you an update about this year’s trends.
Beige from head to toe
Fashion blogger and designer Aylin Konig attended fashion week in a beige overall. A white Chanel crossover bag with gold details, black mesh heels and gold-layered chains combined, create the perfect ‘Safari’ outfit with an elegant twist. Hexagonal Ray Ban shades give this look the finishing touch.

Although this model isn’t new, it is definitely a trendy piece for this summer and can easily push Ray Ban’s classical Round Metal of its throne. However, both models with their filigree frames will always be timeless. Besides, these glasses go with almost anything, whether with beige, bright orange or black.
Big Apple with big glasses
In New York, everything is bigger, louder and crazier. So is fashion. At New York fashion week, there was a clear trend to see – mono shielded shades. These sunglasses with overly big lenses are worn in all colours and shades. But also in Europe, this trend is up and coming since last year. Especially popular is the Carerra model which combines two trends: mono shields, brightly tinted lenses in pink as well as an overly big design make this model a favourite.
There are no limits for the size of the glasses. The following model almost resembles sunglasses for skiing. A bright blue dress and statement earrings are well combined with this model so that it looks perfect for going out.

Copenhagen – one step ahead
Not only in terms of fashion is the Danish capital one step ahead. Also in terms of sustainability, we can learn something. This is also present at other fashion weeks but Copenhagen is definitely the “nerd” of perfecting sustainability. Most of the shows have to be completely sustainable from their preparation to execution. Only certain materials are allowed and many more restrictions. But also in terms of fashion, they are one step ahead. They wear trends that are not even popular here yet.
This is a perfect example from fashion week a few weeks ago. Floral hippy designs in the colour of the year – orange (this trend has already been identified by Edeloptics a few years ago 😉 ). The leather boots and sunglasses which combine transparency and playful details in a rectangular shape are a good break in style.
Bella Italia – Bella Hadid
In Italy, not only the sun smiles but also some bloggers happily attended Milan’s fashion week while presenting their outfits. The biggest trends are small sunglasses, which were frequently spotted. Bella Hadid combines her black shades with an exciting, complete black outfit.

Germany’s most successful fashion blogger Caro Daur has also discovered her love for small shades and wears hers in a cat-eye shape. The additional oversized blazer, boots and shorts make for the best casual-sporty outfit.
The small sunglasses are one of this year‘s hottest trends and set no limits in terms of their variety.
