More and more often temperatures exceed the 20 degrees centigrade mark, and we enjoy the most beautiful sunshine almost daily now. At last the time has come to banish our warm coats, stuff them in the back of our wardrobe and pull out our light summer clothes.
But what to wear this year, actually? Which accessories of last year’s trends are still on, and which are the new ones that we need for the fast approaching summer? Of course, one thing is clear: every outfit needs a pair of sunglasses!
We show you which sunglasses trends are going to fit which outfits best over the coming months.
Raffaello advert reloaded
Talking of summer, which colour pops up in your mind immediately? White! What better than the ultimate contrast colour to accentuate the tan you have been working on so hard! And what’s more, white is a colour that emits an aura of light-heartedness and most often comes along in airy materials such as linen. And as an extra benefit, you can combine it with everything really. Shoes and accessories in flashy neon colours, soft nude tones or the black crossbody bag – white clothing is the absolute all-rounder.
The glasses to go with it are just as effortlessly chosen: matching the colours of the other accessories, or an oversized version like our model by Marc Jacobs. These round sunglasses are, just like our favourite summer colour, an all-round talent and they convince with their fashionable shape and size and the trendy pastel colour. And what’s best: they also can easily be combined with anything at all!

Colour up your (summer) life!
But if soft colours are not your thing, this summer’s fashion has also something in store for you. The hottest trend from decades ago is now back: coloured lenses! It doesn’t matter which colour, whether yellow, pink, or even a two-colour gradient – the more colourful the better!
There is one favourite shape though: especially round glasses are super trendy again now. Our Ray-Ban Jajo has the round shape and also comes in (almost) all colours imaginable!

Riccardo Simonetti is known for his unusual and in some cases rather daring outfits. With his pink trouser suit in summery linen combined with a straw hat and the Ray-Ban Hexagonal, this time he completely blows our mind. The style is suitable for men and women alike (with a free choice of colour, of course). It is the elegant yet casual summer look in perfection. Trouser suits are available in all price segments at the moment and they are our favourite this summer! For you can wear them as an all-in-one look just as well as combining parts of it separately. Riccardo combines it with one of our bestselling Ray Bans, which proves his excellent taste in fashion. Chapeau!

If you’re not that into the hexagonal shaped sunglasses, we are sure that you will find your favourite model among the other Ray Ban classics!
Blue Jeans!

Blue jeans are the ultimate classic. They have been able to sustain their trendiness every season so far. Variations are to be found in the streets in abundance, such as denim hot pants and short denim jackets, which you may also wear in different colours – and you should. Worn over a summer dress during the cooler evening hours, or sexy hot pants combined with a basic t-shirt – denim is and will always be fashionable. Another benefit of the cult material is that it can be combined with virtually everything. With the simple copper-framed round sunglasses like our JB by Jerome Boateng Alex (see picture at the top) or conspicuous Versace sunglasses with their eye-catching mono-disc, or just colourful lenses – anything goes with jeans.

Equipped with these hot hints, hopefully you’re going to go and enjoy the sun very soon – but don’t forget to bring your sunglasses: as an eye-catcher as well as for protection of your eyes!
