These sunglasses fit great on my small face. They are light weight and feel good. Protects my eyes from the sun and glare. This is my second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. The quality is very good.

Maui jim tinted sunglasses

The frame has a lovely color however the lenses are gradient in tint. If you are looking for a dark tint from top to bottom these are not for you.Maui Jim is an excellent frame however.

BEST Sunglasses EVER!

This purchase is my second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and they are simply the best sunglasses I've ever purchased and they are worth every dollar. My original pair has lasted nearly ten years, I dropped my glasses and someone stepped on them before I could scoop them up, sent them in and Maui Jim replaced the lenses, yes, I had to pay a charge but it is WELL worth the money to repair your favorite glasses.They are top notch, I wear my Maui Jim's all year long, they are the clearest lenses I've ever had, they last for years if you take care of them, styles don't go out of style and your sunglasses can be repaired. Can't say enough good things about these sunglasses!

Amazing lenses, gorgeous frames, but feels flimsy

My spouse got me these about 8 months ago, and absolutely love them- the colors are gorgeous, the lenses quality is mind blowing (compared to any other glasses I've ever owned), and the fit just right on my small framed face. The only things that bothered me, is that they feel flimsy, and they didn't come with a case other than the cardboard trifold. When you spend 250 on glasses, you should get a decent protective case.More about the flimsy bit- the arms wiggle sooo much, and I have repeatedly looked up how to tell if they're knockoffs because of it. Like they feel cheaply made, but the lenses are exceptionally great- but they just seem so delicate that I'm nervous even wearing them because I don't want the screws to snap. I like them a lot, but glasses that expensive shouldn't feel so... fragile?

These are great looking sunglasses! she typically wears raybans, but wanted to mix it up. They are definitely on the pricey side, but really seem well built and are excellent visually.

Lense not as dark (protective) as expected

I have many Maui Jim’s. They are nice but not the usual MJ quality of any of my others, I really thought the the lenses would be polarized (as is staple for all the big brands). They are definitely “fashion” sunglasses. I’ll keep them, they are cute but probably won’t order again without knowing exactly what I’m getting. I wear sunglasses first to protect my eyes, looking fashionable second.

Terrific value and style

I bought these Maui Jim glasses to wear while driving on foggy/sunny days to cut the glare. My usual sunglasses are too dark. I really like them! They’re nice looking, lightweight and do the job perfectly. I love the case and tropical themed dust cover too.

I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.
