Great sunglasses, the lenses are so crystal clear to look through. Perfect fit and they are so lightweight and comfortable I don't even notice they are on. I absolutely love Maui Jim sunglasses and this pair is added to that list for sure!
Stylish Sunglasses
I was super excited to see these Kahiko Maui Jim’s, they are very comfortable and stylish with the rectangular shape. The clarity is great and claims to have the polarizedplus2 technology which will take away 99.9% of the glare and block 100% of the harmful UV and boost the colors, not sure if this technology is working, but sounds good. Most important is that it is blocking the sunlight while still being clear. The quality of these Maui Jim’s is what you would expect from this company, made well and meant to last, the frame is sturdy, but a little heavier than what I am used to, I usually wear sunglasses from RayBan. These are great sunglasses and I am pleased to be able to try a different sunglasses brand, I would recommend them.
Good for What They Are
Pros: They’re made of a soft and smooth material that feels good on the face. Lightweight. Do a good job of blocking harsh UV rays. They’re comfortable to wear overall and protect my eyes well. I have a round and wide face and feel like fashion-wise, they complement the shape. They sit on the bridge of my nose comfortably and I’m not constantly pushing them back up.Cons: Bad cost to benefit ratio. You’re just paying for a brand name and it’s blatant. I have cheaper glasses that provide me the same level of protection, so I couldn’t personally justify the cost of these. Not to mention, there’s nothing about them that screams high-quality. I wouldn’t necessarily say they feel cheap, just not what I would feel comfortable paying almost 200 bucks for. I’m certain that if I dropped them, there’s at least a 60% chance they’d shatter. I don’t like those odds considering their price tag. Not as important, but also worth mentioning, the wide temple tips prevented me from using some neck straps I already had, so I’ll have to find a different kind more suitable. If you intend to use some (which I highly recommend considering the cost and increased need to make sure you don’t lose them), make sure you buy some that are wide enough to fit these.Overall consensus: If you have the budget and are partial to this brand, this is a fashionable, and satisfying pair of glasses that will keep your eyes shaded on a sunny day. I hold my hard earned (miniscule) money a little closer to my chest, but if you’re spendy, go for it.

I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.

I hadn’t heard of Edel-optics prior to this purchase but they offered the best price for the sunglasses I was after and reviews seemed good.
Ordering was simple and I was quite amazed at how quickly the sunglasses reached me in the UK.
They were very well packaged, with no danger of damage.
Once opened, they were exactly as described and in perfect condition.
I really can’t fault the process or the product, so why pay more elsewhere?

Excellent and efficient service great prices
I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.
