Fantastic glasses

I've ordered several sets of other MJ styles, Ray Bans and didn't like them. Worried about these as well until they came in. Absolutely blown away by how much I love these glasses. I've owned roughly 10 pairs of Ray Bans, and prob 6 pairs of MJs, these could be my favorite of them all

Great sunglasses

These are excellent sun glasses. They fit your face well and have excellent optical clarity. My one minor issue is that the lenses are real glass and can be pretty heavy. That combined with no nose grips can make the glasses slide down your nose a bit.

Great lenses, too wide for my face

I really liked the glasses. The lenses are really nice, and frames are very light. However, the glasses are too wide for my narrow face.

Returned but Great

As expensive as these are, I wanted to like them a lot and also see what all the fuss was about. They are extremely lightweight and felt durable and quality. Even the lenses were extremely clear and I can see why Maui Jim’s have a great reputation for high end sunglasses. The style was too small for my face though. Had to return them.

I used to never pay this amount for money for sunglasses, as I tend to lose them all the time. I was wrong, this Maui Jim shades are the best sunglasses I have ever owned! I love them! They are cool design, amazing lenses, comfortable and steady they never fall. Costumer for life!

These Dragons Teeth Maui Jim blue lens sunglasses are absolutely top top shelf! The claims made about the lenses are an understatement at worst. Visual clarity and comfort is superb! Speaking of advantages, the mere fact that the lens will hardly scratch brings these sunglasses in at top of their class

Very Nice

Just had laser eye surgery and wanted a nice pair of sun glasses for protection. The are very stylish, light weight and love the Grey color. I also like how the lenses seem to enhance the viewing quality. They make things better even when it's overcast. They are also comfortable to wear and fit just right. When I wore glasses, I always seemed to have trouble with the glasses fitting on my nose. I don't have that problem with these glasses. Very happy with them.

Spectacular Lenses

This is my second pair of MJ sunglasses. The lens quality is second to none in sunglasses. The frames are a good fit. Overall, they are very lightweight. I’m very pleased and if you’re wondering if you should spend >200 on a pair of sunglasses, I say yes! Get Maui Jim’s.

Great glasses with only one small flaw still 5 stars though

This is my fourth pair of MJ's and by far my favorite ones. The style is classic and works well with most wardrobes (if that's an importance to you). I have the blue frames with the blue chromatic lenses. The frames are super lightweight despite having glass lenses. Maui Jim has perfected the super thin glass technology and provides an excellent glass lens with better scratch protection than any polycarbonate lens. Everyone's face structure is different but these fit my face perfect and better than all of my other MJ's.The only complaint is really dependent on where you live. I live in the FL where we sweat constantly for about 7-9 months out of the year due to the oppressing humidity. The sweat that we seem to always have running off our heads causes sunglasses to slide off our noses. That being said a small rubber bad on the bridge would have been nice to keep from sliding. Of course the rubber bridge pieces often fail and gather \"gunk\" in them so maybe leaving it off was good for long term use.Overall I love these glasses and are worth every penny. Buy them if you are contemplating them.

I love these new Maui Jim sunglasses, they are full frame and very light weight. I’ve seen some reviews on the soft case and I really like it. Sure a hard case is required if you are packing your sunglasses in a pack. The soft case works for all other situations. What is really nice about it is it folds down to fit in you pocket and ready for use when you remove your sunglasses

I'm not normally the type to write reviews, but these are the most comfortable sunglasses I've ever worn and they look great.

Sunglasses sometimes don't fit the shape of your face So when I saw that being a Prime Member gave me a 7 day trial to accept or return thecitem I took Amazon up on the offer and after wearing these for 2 Days I knew that they were staying with me indefinitely.

High quality but I look cooler in the Onshore's

I ordered three pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses through Prime Wardrobe: Dragon Teeth, Po'kowai Arch, and Onshore, all with the blue lens. The Dragon Teeth is an excellent pair but I preferred the Onshore and returned the other two. The frame is sturdy and they come with spring hinges and are lightweight but I look cooler with the rectangular Onshore's. Amazon shipped these in a soft envelope via USPS so the boxes arrived damaged but the sunglasses survived. If you can rock square/round lenses I highly recommend the Dragon Teeth!

High quality super lightweight sunglasses

Let me preface this by saying I'm not a sunglass connoisseur and prior to these my most expensive pair of sunglasses were prescription Ray-Bans. First and foremost, these sunglasses are extremely nice and high quality.The polarized lenses on these are great, I love how \"high definition\" the world looks while wearing these. I've driven with these and been out on the lake in the middle of the day and had no issues with sun glare whatsoever.I appreciate that the blue frames are dark, definitely a navy blue with a cool pattern that's really not noticeable unless you're examining them closely. The square shape of the frames is very aesthetically pleasing and will complement most face shapes.These are so lightweight, almost scary how lightweight they are, but they feel durable enough to serve their intended purpose. They feel great when wearing them for a while and don't slip down like some sunglasses.My only gripe with these is the way they arrived. I'm shocked the glasses weren't crushed or scratched like crazy seeing as how they come in a very thin crushed cardboard box that offered no protection during transit. For this price, I'd like to see better packaging.

Really nice sunglasses, great quality

This is a great pair of sunglasses, lightweight and comfortable with outstanding lenses. The polarization feature cuts glare very well, and the lenses have great color rendition and clarity. I've had other premium sunglasses - Ray Ban Aviators, Serengeti, Costa - and these are as good as any of them as far as premium lens quality and lighter weight than any of those brands, making for comfortable all-day wear.I've worn them for hours driving cross-country, and then yesterday in the bright Colorado sun for a day of soccer games and practice, and they perform beautifully.The provided case is unique - took me a minute to figure out, as it folds flat but opens into a reasonably rigid triangle shape which protects the glasses well.One quibble for me, the earpieces are a bit too long, so the drop on them is just far enough behind my ears to allow these to slip down my nose just slightly, an issue I'll probably try to address with an adjustment at an eyeglass store when things are up and running somewhat normally again. Beyond that, if I was the seller and was shipping an item this expensive and potentially fragile, I'd sure spend another dollar or two on packaging! It was a pretty pitiful, thin little box, just lucky that the glasses (which are not shipped in their own case, which arrives folded flat) arrived intact despite the box being slightly crushed.

Fun in the sun

Good:-The case is amazing. It stores flat and extends for a form fitting protective cover.-Feels solidly made.-Comfortable fit.-Very light weight.Bad:-Uncomfortable to wear with a mask.I ordered the Maui Jim Dragons Teeth Square Sunglasses in Dark Navy Stripe/Blue Hawaii Polarized. This style of Maui Jim’s seems old school, but it has a modern look. Compared to other Maui Jim’s, this is a nice pair of sunglasses.

Incredibly light weight and great lens, poor packaging

The carbon fiber frame is super light weight, almost like you have nothing on your face. The body is compact and the frame is nicely designed. Looks very fancy and high end as it should. The blue color and the mirror is something that you should choose for yourself. It comes in many different colors. the striped pattern on the frame is not very obvious from distance, it looks solid dark blue or even black from far. From close by (less than 3 feet I'd say), you can see the stripes on the frame, I have attached a photo for you to see the stripes. The pattern is beautiful in my opinion.The case that comes with it has a triangular shape and is also very well designed. It is so compact and can be even folded flat, but is still a hard protective case.The only disadvantage and the reason I gave it 4stars is the packaging. For a brand that sells expensive high end sunglasses, the packaging was extremely poor. I'm surprised the sunglasses didnt break in transit and arrived in one piece. As you can see in the photo, the box has taken quite a beating in the mail. The sunglasses is not in the case when it arrives. The protective case is folded flat in the box and the sunglasses are in in the box in a plastic wrap. They should box it way better.Overall a very light super good looking pair of sunglasses. Great beautiful frame with nice polarized lens.

Return to Maui NOW!

Love Maui but with Covid here for now, we’re not going anywhere so deservedly exotic. Alas, I now have plenty of time for the abundant local sunshine. These Maui Jim Dragons in Dark Navy are the perfect color. Great polarizing quality, optically superb, lightweight, and a joy to wear while fantasizing about taking them to Maui. “One day, Jim. One day soon!”(On the downside, these arrived in an envelope with no protection. I have confidence Amazon will make it right. . .)

Quality you'd expect from Maui Jim

This is my second pair of MJ's, and I really like them. They are of typical MJ quality, and they fit well. I do wish the lenses were a bit darker, but it's not a deal-breaker for me. They are extremely popular, which means they can be hard to find. If you really want a pair, grab them when you find them! As for the case, it's a weird shape that makes it difficult to put/keep in your pocket. I wish they'd chosen convenience over \"cool\" form.

Excellent and efficient service great prices

I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.
