I have a heart shaped face and LOVE oversized sunglasses both for coverage and the chic DRAMATIC look of them. These YSL sunglasses are beautiful with the gold YSL on the side and with the brown tortoise shell and black frame. They are different from anything I own. I didn’t mind the weight of them but that could be an issue for others who are used to aviators or smaller/lighter sunglasses..They feel comfortable on my face and are a better price here than retail. They came with a cloth, soft case and YSL cards. I think they are so good I’m ordering the all black ones too in this style!

I researched about 100+ different designer glasses. I was looking for a pair that would fit my asian face as it is rounder & fuller. Also i needed something I could replace lenses for rx lenses for daily wear prescription eyeglasses. Dimensions: 56/20/145. Height about 60mm including frames. These were a pair of very beautiful, durable & quality pair of sunglasses! Nothing feels cheap about it! The YSL logo is big & gold. Looks nice against the Havana brown color. Lovely oversized cat full rim glasses that fit good on the face. However, these are made with such quality that they began feeling too heavy on my face. I felt them pressing down on my cheeks bc they were so heavy. They also would slide down my nose after a few seconds of moving around. Thus, I couldn't imagine wearing them all day as daily wear prescription glasses as they would not be comfortable between having to push them up my nose all the time and the weight pressing down on my face all day! I wanted to love them bc they were gorgeous & oversized! 😥 💔I did love them! Just not if you plan on wearing them as your all day prescription glasses. However, perfect sunglasses for just driving or walking! 😎 Depends on what you need them for! They are gorgeous! So sad I had to return.

I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.

Excellent and efficient service great prices
I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.
