After I bought rb3498, as usual, I did some additional research on these glasses. The only thing that made me concerned a little was that rayban has 2 fabrics in China and Italy, and this model is from China. And you know when you hear it is from CHina you are like "what a piece of crap is that". BUT, when they arrived and by the way in Europe shipping was too long, that's because of the war I suppose and logistic challenges, so when they arrived and I unpacked them, oh man, I liked them a lot. They feel very fragile and you should be really accurate with them. The lenses which are polarised are really cool and the light stopes there. Also this pair of glasses are mostly for those who have big faces. Overall, I feel that my eyes are protected, I am happy about the product I purchased. I recommend this model!

I am really happy to know that this style of Sunglasses is still available. The style is my favorite and the price for what your getting is great! I just love these glasses they are optically very good properly polarised although that caused a problem seeing some screens like my iPhone is totally black unless turned on it’s side. They are comfortable and the quality is good, bought a paid a few years ago in some airport and the good thing about Ray Bans is being able to order the same code.

Dark and handsome look
These are gorgeous, dark, and my bestie said they look like private security guard shades. The image shown on the Amazon site looks more like green lenses, but I went by the description which said "polarized grey" and they were. The frames are a nice matte black and the gray lenses look quite dark. It's a challenge to see the person's eyes while they are wearing them. I asked my 10 year old son to try them on, I've attached the pic.I'm no expert on real/fake glasses, but I've owned enough "expensive" shades to be able to put them on and know when I have quality shades. These were a very clear and sharp look, and very comfortable. The world was bathed in a light grey. There is a big "P" on there next to the Ray Ban logo, which I don't love, but I do love the price on these (it's a very good price for polarized shades, which makes me suspicious!).

Insomma, completamente soddisfatto.ATTENZIONEC'è chi scrive che sono cinesi non originali. Sono prodotti in Cina osa comprovata anche dall'etichetta presente sulla scatola del prodotto, ma non si tratta per nulla di occhiali falsi. Per chi non lo sapesse, Luxoctica (titolare del marchio Ray-Ban) produce anche in Cina dove ha 9 stabilimenti e diversi centri di ricerca. Il fatto che siano fatti in Cina non dimostra che siano falsi, anzi, dopo aver fatto una serie di ricerche posso assicurarvi che sono originali, inoltre ne ho comprato un altro paio dopo alcuni anni perché mi si erano rotti e sono ugualmente originali.

Great sunglasses if you're looking for non-polarized and a small frame!
I bought a pair of these under insurance for my prescription. It wasn't a heavy prescription, but as far as sunglasses go, they are quite solid. If you do order these, please keep in mind these are a SMALL frame. They may not fit your head. The lenses are also NOT polarized. If you are looking for polarized lenses, these are not the glasses for you.I would also like to note that despite the China labels people are seeing on boxes, only part of the glasses are made in China, and the glasses hold up extremely well despite that.

Ich habe mir diese RayBan RB3498 Zugelegt, wegen ihrer polarisierenden Gläser und der Umstieg hat sich ausgezahlt. Der Effekt ist im direkten Vergleich mit einer "normale" Sonnenbrille sehr deutlich. Ich werde mir ab jetzt keine Sonnenbrille, fürs Autofahren, ohne polarisierende Gläser mehr kaufen.Abseits vom Auto, sind polarisierende Gläser etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da man ungünstigen Lichtverhältnissen (Streulicht ;) ) am Handydisplay nicht sehen kann.Diese Sonnenbrille passt auch perfekt in die Audi Sonnenbrillenablage!

Got a pair for myself and my father
Keeps me from getting blinded when outside or flying. It's usually a bad day when I forget these at home. Only downside is that the lenses may be prone to popping out easily if the soft frame is even remotely bent (but then again I rarely use the case)

I like to rest my sunglasses on my forehead or top ...
I like to rest my sunglasses on my forehead or top of my head when I go indoors for brief periods. If I carry them by hand, I'll lose them. I mention this becomes the springs in the hinges make that impossible with these shades. There is not enough tension to hold them up and they've fallen off more than a few times. They're comfort when worn regularly. Minus 1 star because this is a secondary function and they do their primary duty just fine.

I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.

After I bought rb3498, as usual, I did some additional research on these glasses. The only thing that made me concerned a little was that rayban has 2 fabrics in China and Italy, and this model is from China. And you know when you hear it is from CHina you are like "what a piece of crap is that". BUT, when they arrived and by the way in Europe shipping was too long, that's because of the war I suppose and logistic challenges, so when they arrived and I unpacked them, oh man, I liked them a lot. They feel very fragile and you should be really accurate with them. The lenses which are polarised are really cool and the light stopes there. Also this pair of glasses are mostly for those who have big faces. Overall, I feel that my eyes are protected, I am happy about the product I purchased. I recommend this model!

I just love these glasses they are optically very good properly polarised although that caused a problem seeing some screens like my iPhone is totally black unless turned on it’s side. They are comfortable and the quality is good, bought a paid a few years ago in some airport and the good thing about Ray Bans is being able to order the same code.

Dark and handsome look
These are gorgeous, dark, and my bestie said they look like private security guard shades. The image shown on the Amazon site looks more like green lenses, but I went by the description which said "polarized grey" and they were. The frames are a nice matte black and the gray lenses look quite dark. It's a challenge to see the person's eyes while they are wearing them. I asked my 10 year old son to try them on, I've attached the pic.I'm no expert on real/fake glasses, but I've owned enough "expensive" shades to be able to put them on and know when I have quality shades. These were a very clear and sharp look, and very comfortable. The world was bathed in a light grey. There is a big "P" on there next to the Ray Ban logo, which I don't love, but I do love the price on these (it's a very good price for polarized shades, which makes me suspicious!).

Insomma, completamente soddisfatto.ATTENZIONEC'è chi scrive che sono cinesi non originali. Sono prodotti in Cina osa comprovata anche dall'etichetta presente sulla scatola del prodotto, ma non si tratta per nulla di occhiali falsi. Per chi non lo sapesse, Luxoctica (titolare del marchio Ray-Ban) produce anche in Cina dove ha 9 stabilimenti e diversi centri di ricerca. Il fatto che siano fatti in Cina non dimostra che siano falsi, anzi, dopo aver fatto una serie di ricerche posso assicurarvi che sono originali, inoltre ne ho comprato un altro paio dopo alcuni anni perché mi si erano rotti e sono ugualmente originali.

Great sunglasses if you're looking for non-polarized and a small frame!
I bought a pair of these under insurance for my prescription. It wasn't a heavy prescription, but as far as sunglasses go, they are quite solid. If you do order these, please keep in mind these are a SMALL frame. They may not fit your head. The lenses are also NOT polarized. If you are looking for polarized lenses, these are not the glasses for you.I would also like to note that despite the China labels people are seeing on boxes, only part of the glasses are made in China, and the glasses hold up extremely well despite that.

Ich habe mir diese RayBan RB3498 Zugelegt, wegen ihrer polarisierenden Gläser und der Umstieg hat sich ausgezahlt. Der Effekt ist im direkten Vergleich mit einer "normale" Sonnenbrille sehr deutlich. Ich werde mir ab jetzt keine Sonnenbrille, fürs Autofahren, ohne polarisierende Gläser mehr kaufen.Abseits vom Auto, sind polarisierende Gläser etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da man ungünstigen Lichtverhältnissen (Streulicht ;) ) am Handydisplay nicht sehen kann.Diese Sonnenbrille passt auch perfekt in die Audi Sonnenbrillenablage!

They are great original Ray Bands made in Italy. I love the snap feature on the sides that makes these unit for my big head and face and not deform the frame. Love them.

Got a pair for myself and my father
Keeps me from getting blinded when outside or flying. It's usually a bad day when I forget these at home. Only downside is that the lenses may be prone to popping out easily if the soft frame is even remotely bent (but then again I rarely use the case)

I like to rest my sunglasses on my forehead or top ...
I like to rest my sunglasses on my forehead or top of my head when I go indoors for brief periods. If I carry them by hand, I'll lose them. I mention this becomes the springs in the hinges make that impossible with these shades. There is not enough tension to hold them up and they've fallen off more than a few times. They're comfort when worn regularly. Minus 1 star because this is a secondary function and they do their primary duty just fine.

Fits great! Only thing is the lenses are a little small. Now if I were a character on the Matrix maybe I'd dig them more. But for functionality, they're great. Still enough coverage for my face, although I wish the lenses were a bit larger.

I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.
