First off I should say my wife recomended I start wearing sunglasses more while outdoors which is a great idea so I started looking for sunglasses mostly for driving but decided that I didn't want to go with something modern that can quickly go out of style or make me look like a middle age man trying to look cool while talking about adding donkey sauce to a hamburger...
I really feel when it comes to sunglasses the three style to try on are the aviator, clubmaster and wayfarer styles. They are the styles that you know in a decade or even three decades are still going to look good. I also feel that the Clubmaster gives a style that fits well for casual wear while running around town but are also something I could wear at an outdoor wedding and not having any issues. I went with the silver and blue frame as I think that gives more of a playful vibe when wearing outdoors grilling with family or while going to park.
The sunglasses also feel really well made like name brand glasses should with a nice firm hinge and no rough edges. As for the sunglasses the lenses are able to block both UVA and UVB at 100% which is really the goal of sunglasses and the lenses are good at providing plenty of coverage for the eye with anti reflective on the outside as well as the inside so you don't get a reflection of the eyeball back at you and you don't get the sun reflecting back into the eye when the sun is at your back. The polarized lenses was something I wanted to reduce glare while driving but it's also worth considering that modern cars have a lot of screens inside of them which I did worry could cause problems. If you tilt your head while wearing a polarized sunglass it can make computer screens look really dark or even go completely black. I am lucky this wasn't an issue for me with my car other than making the screens dimmer but something people should be aware of if the sunglasses are mostly for driving as each year the infotainment systems get larger. It's also worth considering the tint of the sunglasses since while driving you don't want everything to have a green or red tint to it so brown, blue and grey are probably the best choices.
On a final note if the sunglasses don't fit really well for you consider going into your optometrist. Even if you don't need glasses you should still have an eye doctor doing eye exams every few years. They can make adjustments to eyewear. Quality glasses like a pair of Ray Ban glasses is well within their ability to make adjustments to help them fit even better. Even if you think they are good fitting it's worth talking to them to make sure they don't recommend any adjustments it really makes a world of difference to comfort and if an eye doctor you visit for exams won't help you with glasses that are not purchased from them then probably best to find a new eye doctor since anyone who cares about your eyes will want you wearing sunglasses while outside.

I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.

Excellent and efficient service great prices
I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
I can’t fault Edel in the way they have handled my order. Whenever I rang their UK number I always got to speak with someone promptly who was able to answer my queries. This has been a completely opposite experience to some of the reviews posted.
