Be super careful with them, and they are great

4 stars due to price, but these glasses are great for snowboarding. Once they are on your head they are secure and the side blockers work great when it is snowing. You MUST be very careful with the side blockers when you take out the glasses and put them away. As long as you are super careful with them, they should not break. I appreciate the previous reviewers warnings. It allowed me to keep from breaking them, as I probably would have.

These are the. most comfortable sunglasses I have ever owned. They are very pricey, but the quality shows - very well made, fits great, and the side pieces block any unwanted sun. I bought them because I have sensitive eyes. They are big and round, which my kids say make me look like a biker or a pilot. I like them too much to care!

Loved these glasses! Bought them for my son. He’s a FedEx driver and the only thing he said was that the side shields caused him to loose his peripheral vision. Luckily, all he had to do was remove them.
I wish the description of the glasses was clearer about what was included. The case and eyeglass leash was included but I couldn’t see them listed so I ordered them too. Now I have to return them.

Best Sunglasses ive bought, practicality and quality over look

Excellent sunglasses, great for outdoor activities, love to do cycling and the addition of the rubber covers are wonderful. Mine got run over by a vehicle and are still in good use, a few scratches but excellent materials.

Best glasses for the beach

I have been an Oakley sunglass user for more than a decade, and this is one of their best models so far. I really enjoy that they wrap around the eye, so no light will come from the sides. This is their best feature as some glasses tend to not cover the sides. However, if you are planning to move around in a crowded street, I would recomend removing the side blockers as you dont have a peripheral vision when they are installed. At least these peripheral covers are removable if you dont like them. Another feature I love is the integrated wire that holds the glasses to you neck in case they fall. The polarization on the lenses is super useful as they provide more clarity on dim days and help lower brightness of the exterior. These lenses have a slight red hue to them but they are doable on a day to day basis. As a added bonus the glasses have a rubber insert that helps them keep in place. Would definely recomend to anyone who goes a lot to the outdoors.

Clarity and functionality

The glasses are very comfortable and smart looking. I will say one thing don't buy through Designer optics as I had on side shield missing which they failed to accommodate for lack of product knowledge. The glasses are light, rugged and I should get years of pleasure. The blue mirrored lens have a wonderful look to it. I recommend them highly should you want to invest in a good pair of sunglasses.

Keeps my eyes protected from frequent dust whip ups!

Comes with a sweet hard case and carry bag. Not my first choice of color but got the price I was willing to spend on this specific model. Satisfied. 7 month update. The last 3 pics show the rubber corners starting to curl up. I haven't tried to glue it down yet. Also the silver cord has turned and no loner silver looking. I'm still happy with my purchase. The case is outstanding and the carry bag inside is great. Would buy again.

Great for narrow faces, fit and look great.

$200 glasses for $100, ive been waiting for this sale. I love thebcolor changing paint splatter on the frames, side shields, prizm lenses, neck lanyard and attachments, and neon accents. Finally a nee style thay fits my skinny head and doesbt look like cop wrap arounds!

Better than expected

I really liked these for the steampunk style. They are weird looking, and I appreciate that. I got the Prizm Tungsten Polarized lenses and I am so happy I did! The world looks like a video game when wearing them. The dull washed-out colors of the desert become extremely vibrant and green. The sky is purple instead of blue... which might not be for everyone, but I find it to be very cool.
The only issue I have with these (and is to be expected) is that peripheral is greatly reduced... almost to a scary degree. You just have to make sure that you keep your head on a swivel and look both ways very carefully when out and about.

Stylish, protective, & A-okay!

This is a rather preliminary review since I just got them yesterday but I do love the look in the style. My intent is the use them for some motorcycle riding and I love the protective sides. My only critique would be that the plastic does feel a little bit light/cheap but I am exercising some faith with Oakley and hope that this is a top quality product.

Pricey for what they are

The extra features that the Clifden comes with in comparison to the Forager don't justify the price difference. They are still great. love the look and the lenses.
The frame is just a little flimsy and cheap compared to other styles at the same price point

I’m glad I got these oakleys they fit perfectly and feel comfortable.A little pricey but worth it the clarity on vision is perfect.

Was hesitant about buying these and looking like Dr.Robotnik from sonic but was happily surprised how good I look in them! The lenses are fantastic the flaps on the side block all the side light and the nose Bridge is super comfortable!

I snow ski all winter and am on the water most of the spring and summer and these are perfect! They block the sun at all angles. It’s important to have good eye protection. Too pricy at the big box store. I feel I got a great price on eBay and I was so surprised when they showed up sooner than expected.

Just like new and come exactly as described. Extremely clear glasses 10x better then normal vision it seems like with a hint of red and pink color from the lenses.

Oakley doesn't offer any support for them.. no spare nose pieces, wind breaker parts, chains, or lenses available for this model. Very disappointing and an expensive mistake if you lose some of the accessories or scratch the lenses bad on a pair of sunglasses meant for rigorous outdoor activities.... I think it's unfair to rate the product in reflection of the company.

Lightweight, Great Optics, Excellent Glare Reduction

Great optics, lightweight, fantastic glare reduction and protection from the wind and elements. Somehow I can see my phone screen pretty well too. Hard to believe they are polarized. They do fog up a bit under some circumstances though and the side panels restrict peripheral vision enough that I don't feel safe wearing them while drving. Overall I am very happy with them.

I bought them for pwc fishing with the sea doo fish pro. they help keep the wind out of your eyes at speed. highly recommend for power watersports. very dark lenses. made for extreme sunshine. the prism technology is cool. colors definitely pop.

Great sunglasses for all around UV protection.

These sunglasses provide massive UV protection. They were a little bit big for the shape of my face so I had to purchase a silicone retainer sleeve to keep them from sliding down my nose. However, I did not purchase these to go on an exhilarating outdoor adventure. I purchased them for my lasik recovery and it has helped tremendously. Considering my eyes are extremely sensitive to light right now.

Great shades... Awesome polarization. I spent a week fishing right after I got these and the glare reduction was superb. Shape, size and fit are good for me.

I bought these as one of my boyfriend's gifts for Christmas and he loves them! Fits his face really well and with the sunlight blockers on the side, there is no way any light is getting through! Really wonderful quality and worth the price.

Literally worth every single penny. I shopped around a ton before purchasing glasses for when i go hiking and these were so perfect. I wear contacts when i hike and the side protectors not only shield my eyes from the sun but also allow my contacts not to get dries out from the wind. Cool but weak.

I really like the design and comfort but for the price I wish quality is better, I was already thinking to buy the second pair but parts started to break and falling. Nose support is gone, side covers started peeling off the rubber and metal cord is rusty.

I love this pair of sunglasses. Comfortable. Modern. Very good quality. But when my wife saw them on me, she said I looked like I had Teddy Roosevelt's glasses. Too small for my head. I had to return them due to that. Otherwise, very very very nice design and I love Oakley.

Very good. Kind of a steampunk style. Clear hi-contrast lenses. When you are wearing them 15 minutes it feels like there are no lenses. Perfect choice for fishing!

Great Quality

This is my first pair of Oakley's. I have to say I am impressed. Fantastic clarity. I tried them out on the pool at mid-day. Zero sunlight reflection as promised. I actually bought these to replace my last pair of motorcycle goggles. They are not specifically meant for riding, but they seem to have similar characteristics of motorcycle eye wear. I like that you can remove the nose bridge and blinders for a more normal sunglasses look if needed.
I have not had a chance to go riding with them yet (too cold right now. I'll post again after I try them out.

I’m totally satisfied with my experience of edel-optics. Customer service on the phone was excellent and informative. Even helped me cancel my initial order to place it again so I could take advantage of a further discount code. The frame I wanted was a Menrad design and I was concerned because of the recent takeover of Menrad. Edel were very reassuring in the couple of times I spoke with them and sure enough the frame was delivered two days into their quoted delivery window. The product is brand new and comes with a quality hard case.
